This is how the fire bowl was realised
A fun idea became a reality!
The fire basket in the shape of a beer glass is made of corten steel. The design was realised using a plasma cutter, which was used to cut the various parts of the fire basket to size from sheets of corten steel. The parts were then welded together, resulting in a sturdy and durable construction.
The welding process was carried out with a MIG/MAG welding machine, using solid wire with a diameter of 1.2 millimetres and a shielding gas of CO2. The welding joints were carefully applied to ensure a strong and reliable construction.
The fire basket has a height of 77 centimetres and a diameter of 44 centimetres. The design shows the outline of a beer glass with its distinctive spherical shape. The fire basket is suitable for burning logs and creates a pleasant warmth and atmosphere in the outdoor area.
All in all, the fire basket in the shape of a beer glass is a fine piece of craftsmanship, using the plasma cutter and MIG/MAG welding machine to create a unique and functional object.
