Cutting profiles and beams

Beams can be cut to size or mitred. A band saw (or cutting saw) allows us to cut accurately.

This is how we cut beams to size

A band saw is used to cut profiles and beams, or to cut them straight or mitred.

  • Cutting beams straight (also known as 'to size') can be done up to 510 mm.
  • Mitre cuts beams up to 430 mm at an angle of 45°.
